the Hunger Games series is full of plot twist and unpredictable events and, the ending of the second book was no different. although slight hints and foreshadowing was scattered throughout the book the ending was quite surprising.when readers approach the end of the book many would have expected a epic final battle or something of the sort but instead struck with surprise when katniss blows up the force field and it turns out the whole thing was planned from the start.
The Circuit is a great book that really gives a true insight on the life of a Mexican immigrant. In this book the author Francisco Jimenez tells about his life when he moved from mexico to California searching for a better life as many have before him. while this book being simple the author tells a lesson through his own life experiences. This lesson is to tell how the life of a Mexican immigrant is hard, one example of this is that his older brother Roberto not going to school and always working. The main character Francisco is a hardworking curious and goofy boy. this Character reminds me of my friend Ferdinand who shares many attributes with him.they both are always trying to prove themselves and work hard but at the same time are goofy and mess around. In conclusion i recommend this book and enjoyed it very much.
